Enter the "you-tube" video contest here at LSC about the US national debt and win BIG money!

As a means of encouraging civic engagement about a problem that significantly affects YOU, we have developed this video contest. Your video MUST do two things:

1. Creatively illustrate the problem we face.
2. Offer solutions to help solve the problem.

The prize money awards break down as follows:

1st place: $300
2nd place: $150
3rd place: $50

The videos are to be uploaded to YouTube and sent the video link to Dr. David J. Plazek (David.Plazek@Lyndonstate.edu ) by 4:00pm on Monday, November 3

For information, data, charts and tables about the debt crisis, go to facingup.org. In addition, facing up is having its own contest with a November 1 deadline (details are on their website). Feel free to enter your video in both contests and double your chances of winning!
