Scholarships

Lyndon State College demonstrates its commitment to the academic achievement of its students by offering a variety of scholarships and grants. Many students may be eligible for one or more grants and/or scholarships, so please read carefully.

Students whose resources do not meet the full cost of education as determined by the standard federal formula are eligible for both need-based and non need-based grants and scholarships, as well as federal and state funds. Any student applying for federal or state funds must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Students whose resources are sufficient according to the standard federal formula, or who have not applied for financial aid, are eligible only for Non Need-Based grants and scholarships.

Applications, where required, are due March 15th for new students and April 15 for returning students, unless otherwise noted. A link to the downloadable application can be found under forms and publications. Please be aware that some applications require further documentation from the students, such as recommendations or other letters from an outside party, some programs require a special application, and many of the scholarships require a letter of thanks to be sent to the donor. See scholarship list for details. New students, please return applications to: Admissions Office, Lyndon State College, Lyndonville, VT, 05851. Returning students, please return applications to Financial Aid/ Student Services Center. If you have questions please call Student Services at 802-626-6396.
