College Fair: Interested in learning about Lyndon, but unable to come to campus for a visit? College fairs provide a unique opportunity for you to meet with an admissions counselor without having to leave your area! Fairs are hosted at high schools and larger venues. College admissions counselors from all over the country answer questions and distribute college-related materials. Interested in joining us at a fair? Click here for our fair schedule.
FAFSA: If you plan to seek financial assistance as you pursue your education, you must fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This is the financial aid application required by our Financial Aid office, and it is the first step in the financial aid process. Click here to learn more.
First quarter senior grades: We welcome applications as early as September, but in order for us to make a final decision on your application, you must provide us with a copy of your first quarter senior grades. These grades are traditionally released in November, and give us insight into your academic progress during your senior year. Once these grades are released, please plan to have a copy of your grades sent to our Admissions office.
High school visit: Unable to visit us on campus or attend a college fair? Let us know, and we'd be happy to schedule a visit to your high school. During this visit, an admissions counselor will sit down with you in your guidance office and discuss with you the admissions process and your Lyndon experience.
Interview: Conducted during your visit to campus, an admissions interview gives us insight into your academic background, your goals, and your interests. These interviews are an informative experience for you and the admissions counselor. Parents are welcome to join you as you speak with us.
Recommendation: In order to complete your application, we require you to submit a recommendation from a teacher or guidance counselor. This person should be able to speak to your interests, skills, and your academic background. While we only require you to submit one recommendation, we're happy to read any others you choose to submit. Submitting a recommendation from someone who knows you inside the classroom and someone who knows you outside of the classroom (a coach, club leader, etc.) adds depth to your application.
Rolling Admissions: This term means that we accept applications throughout the year. We encourage applications by February 1, but understand if students cannot meet this deadline. Ready to apply? Click here to download an application or apply on-line!
