What do you need to know before applying?

  • Please read all the information below before completing either the online or paper application
  • All students may apply either online or on paper
  • Applications submitted online receive the same consideration as applications submitted on paper 
  • Submit the paper application:
    • If you have a fee waiver from your guidance counselor
    • If you must pay the fee via check
    • NOTE: The fee for submitting the paper application is $38
  • If you apply online:
    • You must pay the fee online
    • NOTE: The fee for submitting the application online is $25

Applying on Paper

  • Download the Paper Application
  • The paper application must be submitted if a fee waiver or proof of unemployment is being submitted.  Anyone else wishing to submit the paper application may do so along with the fee.

Information for Specific Applicant Populations

  • First-Year Students
    Any first-year student whose family is unable to afford the application fee should submit the paper application along with a fee waiver, which can be obtained from a guidance counselor. 
  • Transfer and Non-Traditional Students
    Any transfer or non-traditional student who is unemployed or laid off from a job and is applying for spring or fall 2009 should submit proof of unemployment along with the paper application. Proof of unemployment serves as a fee waiver for these students.  
  • International Applicants
    International applicants follow the same application process as all other students.  However, there are special requirements for international students who will be attending college in the U.S. on an F-1 (student) visa.  International applicants (F-1) should please read carefully all information pertaining to financial and academic documents.
  • Reapplicants
    Students who applied to Lyndon within the past two years, chose not to attend, and wish to be reconsidered, may complete the reapplication for admission.
  • Readmits
    Students who were dismissed from Lyndon may apply for readmission after 1-2 semesters of strong academic work at another institution.
